This is a project with lots of
goodies, but never the less
a project. So if you are not
up to, or don't know how to,
maybe this is not for you. :)
This boat is a huge project.
If you are unsure of your
skills or lack income, you
may want to consider
another boat. Remember
the bigger the risk the
bigger the payoff. She will
go anywhere when finished.
And the lines are totaly cool.
The boat was built in Red
Wood City, CA. in 1979.I
met the man and his wife
that built her and have
pictures of the whole crew.
She was poured by a
professional crew out of
Santa Cruz, CA Test
panels were poured at the
same time and tested @ 8
days and 28 days as
required by Sampson
designers. Also, a rep from
the factory in Canada was
on hand for the pour. The
inside looks like the outside
in terms of stored
equipment and tools. The
cost will be about $4,000
to $5,000 to haul,
pressure wash, paint,
install the shaft,rudder,
prop and steering wheel.
She has everything a
house has and everything
works just fine. The boat is
not finished. The local boat
yard hauled her 8 years
ago. We don't get much
growth here as this is
brackish water so the boat
is still clean. I have most
of the new parts to install.
I also have a full set of
sails that are new, never
used or taken out of the
bags. You may call if you
have questions. 707 655
